We have been pretty busy lately to add some more features to our blogr-service, that have been missed by the users.

There is now a cool Flash-based File-Uploader (requires Flash version 8 though), which makes it a lot easier to upload multiple files. This uploader allows you to select as many files as you want from your disk, and you can lean back and watch the progress bar while your files get uploaded.
You will now also find a separate menu item, where you can manage the Comments at your space. We even implemented Comment Moderation, in case that you want to take a look at the comments before they get published on your space.
Last but not least, we made the Layouts customizable. There is an easy interface, which allows you to change the colors of your space, and you can even change/add some images to your layout. Additionally, if you feel daring and have a solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, then you can also completely adapt the stylesheet of your space to your needs.

So, what's next? A couple of features, like improved photo albums and (finally!) Podcasts, we will very likely role out in the upcoming week. Following that, we have lots of or more ideas/stuff for blogr that we will be working on (yes, simple blogrolls is among them). So, stay tuned! And have a good time here at blogr.

Hi Knallgrau Team.

Customizeable layouts - great! That's what I was waiting for :) and actually the point, which I (up to now) most criticized at this app. Thanks a lot for the new features. The layout tool including its preview is quite intuitive.

hope you also think about a faq´s-section. i love the handling of blogr, but i think that some features like "upload via windows-client" or "create your own template" need an extra explaination.

ah! i forgot one really annoying thing!
very often i try to explore some flicr-paces. so i use very often the "next space"-button. the thing is that allways get the same pages in the same order. at the moment i have to click about 50 times at the button to see something new. little bit boring and not very convenient for community-building...

The Flash based uploader has not been working to well for us on our slow South African internet connection, so please leave the classic mode aswell. This is a great service, thanks alot. cant wait for the podcasts to start ...

hi jay and the german: the classic mode is still active: click the link "» Switch to classic upload form"

and for slow connections we recommend the e-mail upload.
